Rare Earth Venture has been purchasing land near Baddeck since 2003 with the long term interest in developing a community of like minded people within close proximity to the Village of Baddeck . With a couple of golf courses, easy access to protected wilderness areas, Highland snowmobile trails, and good fishing in nearby rivers and lakes there is lots of activities for the family or retired couple.
Numerous restaurants open in the spring/summer/fall with a couple remaining open in the winter. Some great coffee stops within the Baddeck Village and a Tim Horton's at the entrance to the Village. The Bras d'Or Lakes and access to the ocean is its crowning glory.
